Increasing Access and Quality of Behavior-Analytic Services for the Latinx Population

Latinxs are the largest minority group in United States, making up approximately 18% of total population. Although there is a critical need for behavioral health care system, including behavior analysts, to provide services support needs Latinx community, access quality and mental continues be lacking Black, Indigenous, people color populations. This article highlights some cultural language factors that should considered by behavior-analytic providers who have shared responsibility make culturally linguistically appropriate available this Additionally, recommendations systemic action across service providers, professional organizations, training programs, researchers suggested address these barriers. Recommendations bringing about change three domains: (a) increasing diversity workforce, (b) enhancing cultural- language-related issues, (c) conducting research on adaptations evidence-based treatments.
